Let’s Buy This Land

Challenge

We’re doing it! We’re raising money to buy land for our ministry and need your help. We’re so excited to announce that our land campaign has begun! It is an exciting time for Beats and Books, and we are expectant of what lies ahead. 

Beats and Books’ mission is to create environments where children thrive musically, intellectually, and spiritually. Last year in 2021, we were officially registered in South Africa as a Nonprofit. This year we are beginning to expand. With the purchasing of this land, we will expand our operations and increase our capacity for hosting our after-school programs. The land campaign is a huge step forward for Beats and Books. We can’t wait to see our academy come into being. Here, our children will come to play, pray, learn, and excel.  

How Could This Be Funded

If everyone who likes our Beats and Books Facebook page, 1083 people, would donate R362/USD$21 by 29th November 2022, we would purchase this land measuring up to 984m2 (about twice the area of a basketball court).

Our Partnership with Grace Klein Community

Grace Klein Community is a 501(c)3 non-profit based out of Birmingham, AL. They have partnered with us since 2011. They have received donations on our behalf to help with such provisions as computer equipment, cellphones, and a bus.

They have also collected and stored books and instruments for some years for the Library Dreams Project. Grace Klein Community has hosted our staff for the purpose of fundraising in support of this and other initiatives.
